Egelsee, there is a legend about that lake.

A monster of a knight lived in a castle at Heitersberg. His name was Riko. But his castle was named farmes sore, since it brought the farmes in this area only misery and harm.
The knight with his cruel companion in arms were raiding every day. On the way back they passed a farm of a widow, who couldn't pay the tithing in time. The fiends took all the goods and chattels, cast out the woman with her children, and burned their hut. The mother just wanted to get a handful of flour to prepare a porridge for her youngest. The knight snatched the kid from her arms, and threw it into the flames. "Now it doesn't need porridge anymore", scoffed he and rode away with his companions.
The mother knelt in unbearable pain and prayed to the heaven, that he might show merci to his people and end their sorrows.
And the heaven heard the lamentation of the mother. In the same night rose a dreadful thunderstorm. Without pause the lightning was striking the castle, and under tremendous crack it sank with man and mouse 100 fathom in the abyss.
In the following morning lay a deep black lake, where the castle sank. It is the Egelsee.
