Description

Eppenberg is a small climbing crag close to Aarau. You find routes here starting from 3a to 7b. But probably the rock of easier routes are starting to be marmorated. The protection is good. From the parking lot, it takes only 10 minutes to get to the crag.

Walk towards Schönenwerd. There should be a path leading up the hill to the climbing crag. It's on the left hand side.

There is a parking lot towards Schönenwerd. It's before the village sign. The official access is following the Dorfstrasse towards Schönenwerd and right at the village border to the right is a hiking trail, and also a sign towards the climbing crag. The path follows the edge of the wood. Just when you are entering the wood, there are yellow and white arrows leading of path on a trail. Suddenly you will see on the right hand side a little below a sign "Veloständer". The climbing crag is beneath it.
